skeleton pajamas

A while back, when the kids were picking what they wanted to be for Halloween, it was decided that Charlie would be a skeleton. Knowing my children, and their hesitancy on dress-up, I decided to order skeleton pajamas for all three. My logic - by having Charlie's costume double as PJs he could get more use out of them and feel more comfortable wearing them. Also, his sisters would also have the PJs (although theirs are pink, of course) making it seem even more normal.

So, the PJs arrived in the mail. Ella tried hers on, but would not keep them on, because she wanted to SAVE them for Halloween. I warned her, if she saves them too long, Halloween will be over. Charlie tried his on, and wanted them OFF. They felt strange. In his defense, long-john style PJs in Arizona in October is a strange feeling. Sophie tried hers on, and kept them on, and hasn't complained.

I'm not too confident that Charlie will be a skeleton for Halloween or will ever wear his skeleton PJs for that matter. I'm thinking a train engineer is a better bet. But the PJs sure are cute!
