Today, we took the kids to the Arizona Science Center.
Crowned and ready for Narnia!
The Narnia exhibit was great. We entered through a wardrobe into a magical land with falling snow. The kids really loved the snow! We sat in the very cold chair of the White Witch (we thought having one of these at home would be great for Arizona summers). We also saw a catapult in action.
Next, we visited the Grossology exhibit. The kids seemed speechless.
Ella really enjoyed the "Toot Toot" display. These devices made fun sounds!
Charlie really enjoyed the nose display, not exactly sure how this portrays the function of a nose hair, but Charlie sure liked shooting the air gun.
A life size game of Operation.
This was taken at the Forces of Nature exhibit. Large screen TVs showed video of various types of weather, while lights, wind, rain, and sound machines simulated the sensory experience. They even pounded the floor for earthquakes!
Charlie practiced for our upcoming flight to Colorado in the airplane exhibit.
Sophie was a great sport. She joined in the fun at many of the displays, but ended relaxing in her stroller for a nice nap.
