This week Sophie has weathered her first stomach flu, learned to drink out of a sippy cup, and most importantly cut her first two teeth! It's been a long haul but I think we're finally seeing some light at the end of the tunnel.

silly mom! filming sideways!

So, I had this brilliant idea, to record some video, but I turned the camera the wrong way...so it's sideways...still cute, just turn your head! I'll do better next time! Charlie wants to watch this one over and over, he laughs every time. Ella is anxious to start making movies!

school lunch

Today Ella and Charles went on a tour of the school where Ella will be attending kindergarten next fall. School lunch was tostadas, corn, and pineapple. Sources tell me that Ella did try her food. Ella told me she had 3 choices for milk: white, chocolate, or strawberry. Who knew they served strawberry milk in public school!

Today Ella & Gracie rode a camel at the zoo!

His name was Luke.

The boys thought the water at the splash park was TOO cold. They entertained themselves in the lake (throwing stuff in, pulling stuff out, almost falling it). They are always finding fun in something.

I LOVE TRAINS!!!

While driving along MC85 today we happened upon 2 trains. Mom drove as slowwwwwwly as she could so that Charlie could admire the cars, with windows down to hear the clickity clack of the track and the whistle at every passing intersection. Charlie thinks that he saw trains today because he was wearing his train hat :-) I expect it to become a popular accessory. Thank you Gran!
