I NEED a lunch box!

This summer we borrowed a book from the library called, I Need a Lunch Box. It quickly became one of Charlie's favorites.

 The story is about a little brother with an older sister who is just about to start school. The parents take the sister out to buy her school supplies. The brother quickly falls in love with lunch boxes and wants one of his own. He dreams about lunch boxes and all that he could put inside them.

On the sister's first day of school, the parents give the little brother his own lunch box!

Of course, Charlie has said all summer, "I NEED a lunch box!"

Today, Ella gave Charlie his very own Spider-Man lunch box! She and I found it weeks ago and have been saving it for just this day...she was SO excited to give it to him.

He LOVES his lunch box. It has been carried around non-stop since. Mostly filled with various snacks and trains. 

With his backpack on he's ready to spend the rest of the day with his buddy Nate!
