all we need is a covered wagon

my kids talk all day

sometimes I listen

sometimes I tune them out

they had been tuned out for awhile

I was aware that they had been playing in the backyard

they had found some great stick

and as we loaded up in the car to go get the big kids from school

the stick came along

as we are zipping through rural country 

on our way to school

I started to tune into the backseat conversation...

they are shooting imaginary buffalo out the windows 

with their imaginary gun (i.e. stick)

they are sharing the gun quite nicely - passing it back and forth

By the way, all photos were taken in the school parking lot.

I was not taking pictures with my iPhone while flying down Beloat at 50 mph.

I was nervous enough having them show me their "gun" moves...

I didn't want anyone to get the wrong idea!

I stopped and took this photo today (Wednesday)
to show that the buffalo aren't completely imaginary!
We do see them every day on our way to/from school!
