When Kylie came to visit we spent an afternoon at the Desert Botanical Gardens.

We started with the butterflies.

This was a very challenging outing with the kids. They were done when we started. And the gardens were extremely busy that day. I put this picture in because they look so peaceful. It was pretty much downhill from there. In their defense, they were on the brink of a terrible cold. I felt awful that I took them...but I wouldn't have learned how badly I want to go back...

The Chihuly exhibit is absolutely stunning. It's here in Phoenix through the end of May.

My goal is to see it again. At night. With wine. Without children.
It's a date.
