Ella made this a few weeks ago, before Christmas. She came home from school one day and wanted to make a gingerbread house. When I explained that I didn't have the fixings she said no problem, she knew just what to do. She completely surprised me with this...I can't get over the two dimensional cobblestone path.
I didn't mention to Ella that I'm gingerbread house impaired. We tried to make one two years ago, and I couldn't get the walls of the house to stay up. I said next time, I would super-glue the house together the night before. Lucky for me, Great Grandma Helen sent a kit with the house already assembled!! Woohoo!! To be honest, we still haven't put it together, but we will, look forward to pictures of a gingerbread house with a Valentine's theme!
